“My photographs document traditional Americana culture while utilizing conventional styles of photography. My Americana style is defined as the history, geography, folklore, and cultural heritage of the United States. Many kinds of material fall within this definition of Americana: license plates or entire vehicles, barns, homes, or household objects, artifacts, tools, instruments, flags, plaques, signs, and so on.”
Jason’s photographs can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide, including most recently, the permanent collection of the Tennessee State Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. Jason resides on the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee with his wife Beth and two children.
